North American Repower offers completely remanufactured, dynamometer tested, fully warrantied natural gas fueled heavy duty engines for a variety of applications.
On Highway Applications — Our USA and Canada emissions compliant systems for Class 5-8 vehicles will be available through our certified installation and service partners in 2016. This site will be updated as each regional installer completes the certification process.
Off Highway Applications — Harsh Environment Durability testing is still underway on several systems for Trailer Refrigeration Unit applications, Field Gas Compressor applications, Auxiliary Power Units, and Field Gas Gensets. These applications will be eligible for use in non-attainment areas. Contact Inside Sales for updates on timing of availability.
OEM — North American Repower is well familiar with the level of quality control and assurance needed to be a Tier 1 supplier to OEM engine and vehicle manufacturers.
We can provide full modeling analysis of both engine and vehicle subsystems prior to prototype development. ARB, EPA, NHTSA and NFPA compliance goals can be readily determined through our pre build analysis. All NAR subcontractors and suppliers are ISO certified.
As a new entity, NAR is not yet eligible for ISO certification status but our QA/QC processes are in place and the certification process is underway.
North American Repower supports academic research in the area of alternative fuel engines by creating unique but flexible one of a kind systems for each project. Our systems are currently in use in several prominent University and National research labs.
Assisting in these projects is challenging and time intensive and in no manner economically profitable, but allows our Engineering professionals to remain on top of all current advances and engaged on the frontiers of combustion and emissions science. For this reason alone we welcome all inquiries and opportunities to participate in qualified research projects.

North American Repower has field agents that can assess your fleet’s potential for utilizing natural gas as an alternative to diesel. This non-commission sales force can supply fleet managers with the tools and information to do a reasonable but basic evaluation themselves, or will gladly perform a more detailed evaluation at no charge.
There are a number of factors that must be considered correctly to determine the value of moving to natural gas. North American Repower has fuel providers, station providers and finance partners willing to lower the barrier to adoption of natural gas as the fuel of choice for select fleets.
Our representatives can assist fleet owners in determining what barriers exist and how our partners can help eliminate these issues. It is in the interest of North American Repower and our partners that all fleets we evaluate only move to natural gas if it makes sound economic sense.
We are committed to providing a product that has a reputable long service life and low total cost of operation that our partners and customers can literally bank on.
